"You don’t have to be in crisis to know something in your life needs to change. Sometimes therapy begins with anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship struggles, or a major transition. Other times, it begins with a quieter knowing: “I don’t want to keep feeling this way.”
For more than twenty years, I’ve helped people understand themselves more deeply, heal old wounds, navigate change, and create lives that feel more authentic to who they are.
My approach is warm, genuine, collaborative, and often infused with humor and curiosity. I believe good therapy requires more than clinical expertise. It requires a relationship where you feel safe enough to tell the truth, become curious about yourself rather than judgmental, explore what’s beneath the surface, and show up as your whole self. I’m not a distant or overly clinical therapist. I’m human in the room with you.
I don’t see people as problems to be fixed. I’m interested in understanding how you became who you are, why certain patterns developed, what they may have once protected, and whether they still serve you today.
Rather than asking you to fit into one therapeutic model, we find what works for you.
Ultimately, I believe therapy should help you become more deeply yourself, not someone else’s idea of who you should be.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin. You just need somewhere safe enough to start."

"I recognize how difficult it can be to take the steps toward seeking out a therapist, regardless of the reason that brought you. Life can be challenging in many ways and can be difficult to navigate alone. Life can be challenging in many ways and can be difficult to navigate alone. I take great care in providing a safe environment for my clients to explore their lives and various obstacles in a nonjudgmental way. Building a trusting, therapeutic relationship is what I find most enjoyable about my work as a therapist.
I have been in the field of mental health for nearly 7 years, working with a diverse range of clients of all ages and various backgrounds. I have experience working with individuals and groups around many challenges including depression and anxiety, mood instability, domestic violence, grief, trauma, and various life transitions.
While I tend to come from a relational and strengths-based approach, I recognize that every person is unique, each with their own background and personal set of challenges. As such, I carefully tailor my interventions around the clients given situation. It is my belief that building a trusting and collaborative relationship helps increase treatment success."

"Taking steps to get counseling takes a lot of courage. I believe that everyone has their own unique experience and challenges, and that you don't have to go through it on your own. It is my goal to guide you closer to a balanced and happy life.
I typically work with adults and adolescents ages 11-17 with anxiety, depression, body image, self-esteem, and coping skills. I am passionate about working with people who are marginalized (BIPOC, LGBTQ+, Women etc.). You are the expert on you, which is why I will work in a collaborative, encouraging, and supportive effort to help create goals that are tailored to your life while keeping your background and values in mind.
I use Person-Centered Therapy with approaches from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical-Behavior Therapy whenever it best suits you. Whether you desire to make changes in your life or you just want a listening ear, I would love to have the opportunity to support you in your journey.
My first intention is always to provide a safe and accepting environment to give you the space to express your thoughts and feelings. Together we will figure out where to go from there."
